Additionally, it will work on BT earphones and Soundbars, e.g. a-Pods, h-Pod, and mini, etc. IMPORTANT: you have to manually setup the controls for your audio per instructions. INFRARED (IR) - Although it uses very STRONG IR signals almost omnidirectional, this remote WON'T WORK if your devices were placed INSIDE OF A CABINET OR BEHIND A WALL. Please follow our instructions. If there is any issue - CONTACT US directly. 
 
PLEASE NOTE - this remote is an IR remote, does not support voice functions. No third party remote is capable of SI-RI. However, you can use your other compatible Apple devices (i.phone or x.Pod, etc) for that matter. For the purposes of the remote this is just a universal replacement for the BASIC remote functions, no fancy functions, like touch control or scrolling.
